How Pury handles information
Pury iOS · 28 August 2026
Pury is a photo-timeline press that stays on one iPhone. You capture or import frames, group them by day or place, stamp overlays, and press a PDF. There is no public feed and no chat.
What stays on the phone
Roll titles, frames, place hints taken from a file, spoken footer clips, the desk portrait, display name, Presses balance, and finished PDFs are stored in on-device files. Pury does not run an account server and does not sell that material.
When the system asks for access
Pury asks only when you tap a control that needs it:
- Camera — Rolls when you tap Shoot, Desk when you tap Camera
- Photo library — Import on a roll, Album on Desk, and Save still on Press
- Microphone — Speak footer on Press
- Notifications — after Continue, Apple’s system sheet
- Tracking preference — Apple’s App Tracking Transparency sheet after Continue. Pury does not use an advertising identifier to follow you into other companies’ apps or websites. Rolls, spines, and a PDF press still work if you decline.
Apple purchases
Lab slips and other Presses packs are consumable In-App Purchases. Apple processes payment. Pury does not see your full card number. Presses live on this phone and are not restored after the app is removed or the desk is deleted.
Names and footers
A local word check may reject a roll name or footer before it is saved. Pury does not publish rolls to other people.
Who else sees your frames
Frames, spoken clips, and PDFs are not uploaded to third-party automated analysis services.
Age
Pury is not aimed at children under 13. Use it only if you meet the minimum age in your region.
